Her father carries many responsibilities, in addition to having a couple of daughters with complex personalities, it is understandable that there were misunderstandings. There is only one culprit here and no one present is safe from the emperor’s game. It’s nice to see how her sister is possessive, maybe because she always understood what her little sister was going through because of the lack of expressiveness of the little magician.
I hate it that parents just assume that because their child doesn’t complain a lot means that they are happy about the situation – and even when they do complain, they are told to be the mature person and just accept it and be understanding. This hasn’t been updated in a long time and I don’t think my blood pressure can handle a re-read, but I recall the sister to be very aloof to the point of being unfeeling -does she just have sudden episodes when confronted with a challenging enemy??
