A few years too late to make this reply however she had only made reasonable assumptions. And this is an arranged marriage neither of them wanted. If he doesnt want to properly communicate and if he wants a relationship thats on him but where it stands that seems to be the least of her worries

…but in this life, the Duke qas the first person to be on her side. All she had to do was ask and he did everything and even went out of his way to shut down the nasty MIL. Is this girl dumb? Nah… author just likes writing the MC as oblivious to heighten drama. It’s annoying.

THAT! YES!! FL treats ML like a used tissue coz of what happened in their past but she’s the only one to remember it. Its super obvious ML cares for her but she ignores that in favor of what she remembers. SO DUMB.
