Just plain ol SPOILERS

Nothing to do with his PRIDE pretty much comfimred just GREED (blanche family estelle’s family is the richest of the empire and holds ownership to the majority of mines)…..
.
and the fact he slowly falling for the changed estelle…….he admidst he always hated her till she changed…..but even that took a year for him to try to aproach her but too little too late let alone transmigrator dont want none of it

earlier chapter i made a comment about the poisoning as earlier novel its made to look like butler did it with some small hints and nudges…..
.
but DUNDUNDUN Estelle commited suicide with the poison….people just think it was an atempted one but its just transmigrator that took over who has no memories of OG only her own so its played as amnesia….

she will get a shock getting OG memories

in the end reason for divorce cause evidence…..inhuman treatment at the Duchy and they cant refute it as it happend so he has no foothold to try to mend and ignore the contract
He has SOME right to be upset, but the only reason she has to go to extremes with the ship situation was because HE stole and hid the contract. He really is focusing on his own wounded pride instead of her own struggles way too much…
