Why does the FL have to be so stupid and the queen so disgustingly overzealous?! I mean I get that liking someone can become crazy but he has a wife and a kid, yet she still goes after him just because she has power over the empire but in front of everyone??
I agree with the misc mech person. A whole bunch of people don’t seem to get that the fl is also a person. Unlike the ml, she is much weaker, especially in the face of something intimidating like the princess. While the ml has no problem standing up to her, the fl is much more scared of the consequences of their action regarding the queen lady. Side note, the queen is giving rich bitch vibes. Sometimes I wish they would find a better antagonist lol.
FFS this ML is so pushy. I get that we’re supposed to find him wooing her romantic but he’s beyond childish. He and the Empress deserve each other. You are purposely getting Mable in trouble; just because the Empress can’t harm her doesn’t mean she can’t make her life hell. He is literally doing exactly what the Empress tried by putting Mable into situations where they seem closer, but unlike him, Mable lacks a spine and so can’t say “no” more than once (although once should be enough). Ugh. If they had broken up for any reason besides the contrived murder plot (she fell out of love, they wanted different things in life, she wanted to pursue an opportunity, etc) all this would still be too much!
