1. Their father got with his mother after hers so she could be blaming some of that betrayal on him.
2. A childhood always being compared and pitted against each other
3. Their father dangling inheriting his business over their heads. If he weren’t here, she wouldn’t have a rival for that (why she wanted him to stay in America)
