100% sure her mother had emotional numbness. I doubt she could feel anything and couldn’t look forward to anything or even be happy with what she has. Her parents promised her she would be better with marriage and it didn’t change anything, then a child but she still felt nothing no hate dislike no love just nothing and she just had enough and didn’t want to keep trying.
Eris mother is really bad person. I don’t understand why she had depression and why she had given up on life but here is the guy desperate begged for love. She was really cruel. Even after giving birth to daughter, she left her daughter on her own. Every child needs parents especially mother.
