@marshmallow028 I agree with you 💯 percent. I always put myself in the position of the FLs and feel the same way you do. If I were in their position, I’d be seriously depressed and mentally unhinged. I always imagine the first thing I’d do in their situation is suicide because I’m definitely not the type of person who can handle such insurmountable and foreign change. Either that or I’d die from fear, shock, and anxiety. I don’t even have many(if any) loved ones I’d miss, but that doesn’t mean I could effortlessly accept an entirely new world, body, and life. So yeah, I also find the FL’s character endearing and I love her determination to find a way back to her world. Above all that, the plot -just like the FL- is also quite different from other possession/reincarnation stories. I don’t think I need to explain why do I? The witches, the gods, the motives, the plot twists, the end of the story. Those are just a few factors that really make this story stand out!

Y’know this is actually the first time I’ve seen an MC really suffer through an identity crisis. Most transmigrators are all, cool new life, my second chance. They’re so nonchalant you question how sucky their first life was. FL’s life was also stressful and imperfect but she never forgets or identifies as Eris. Even with her beauty and luxury, she’s never once been taken with it and instead solidifies her original personality. What a strong sense of self.
