everytime i read each chapter’s.. i always remembered the fl and ml as ishakan and leah in the novel🤷♀️✌❤ honestly…!!!

Dropped, none of the mc’s ommunicate to eachother.
(SPOILERS)
The fml has some arbitrary reason given to her at the last second as to why she doesn’t reveal that she’s the girl from his past. The ml, as king, takes zero steps to help the fml make it in society. Just giver her a maid and ignores ner. No one helps her learn the culture, language, etc. to settle into her place as future queen. The former intended bride of the ml’s dead older brother is angling for the crown, and therefore is turning the whole palace against the fml, which the ml just DOESNT SEE. And in turn the fml doesn’t tell the ml this is happening.
Everything is frustrating and no one’s communicating, all for the sake of DRAMA, even though none of this is necessary. I don’t mind a timid fml, especially after growing up abused, but the characters’ chooses in this just don’t make sense. They’re either stupid or purposefully obtuse.

Personally not my cup of tea.
(SPOILER UP TO FIRST 18 CHPTS) FL is a timid damsel with years of familial abuse who is forcibly married to the ML and has to survive politics, which is basically bullying from a jealous woman and her cohorts. Plus girlie is mentally regressed (“innocent” and cries one too many times before ML tries to initiate the deed to stop plot).
I find it a bit unsettling that ML couldn’t stop thinking of FL after they first met when she was 10 because she saved his life. He (at “human age 17”) basically fell in love with the thought of her (color of eyes/hair) for over 10 years. Wild……..it’s giving me Twilight.
