@I like boys who like boys, Exactly! It’s so frustrating when people can’t fathom the reality that people and characters that are based on people can be affected by traumatic experiences. Did they forget that the poor woman was kidnapped twice, saw countless corpses, and has to reside in an unfamiliar territory. It’s a miracle that she can still talk or cry at all. Even before all that, she faced serious abuse and neglect from her awful family. In fact, when she showed that “brave” front as a 10 year old, I thought that was just because she became too unfazed and emotionally detached from all the abuse to feel scared at the sight of a dragon. They keep complaining that she’s too “naive” or “weak” while any normal human in her position wouldn’t have the willpower to get out of bed!
@_Glen_ kids are more Reckless and honest when they’re young she was 10 around that time so she didn’t know anything like that but growing up she starts to mature around the environment that she grew up in which led her to become the way she is now so shut up and grow up and if you have a problem with it so badly drop the book

I’ve been planing to say this for a while but i really hate the ML, in the beggining he ws the kindest, most patient and caring person to the FL, he also promised that no one would be able to harm her, but when they came to Tayar he did a 180 cause for :
1. he tried to sleep with the FL and when she was not comforable he just left her, i mean there is no way that he didn’t know what’s gonna happen to her if the king leaves the room early,he could have just sleept there until morning to protect her reputation not everything has to revolve around sex,
2. he doesn’t tell her anything he just expects her to know how things work in Tayar, he is not trying to teach her about customs and traditions nor did he appoint anyone to teach her that,
3. He was searching for the girl that saved him and she had silver eyes and hair and should be in her 20, but when the same girl is in front of him he is like ” thats not her the 10y/o i meet was brave and she is not” i mean he saw that she was abused and didn’t think “hmm well abuse can change people” i wonder how many ch is gonna be needed until he finds out it’s actually her, and my biggest problem:
4. As i sad, he promised the FL that no one in Tayar will dare to hurt and disrespect her, and while no one is physicaly hurting her there is no way he isn’t aware of the rumors that she is the abandoned woman, cause he left her room twice in a row,( the second time was cause she asked if he likes Garret, i mean if you consider all the rumors going on about his crush on her it’s normal to ask, and he never denied it and just ran away, like what the hell dude) so of course no one is gonna care about her if the same king that married her isn’t caring and is openly ignoring her, why should the servants respect her, and about the rumors about Garret if he truly hated it he could have rounded everyone up and be like” Hey i have no intetion to sleep with the wife that my brother loved and whose dying wish was to be buried with her” just to make it clear to anyone and if anyone tries to bring it up again it would mean disrespecting the former king and his wish, and on the other hand he knows that she is a power hungry bitch when she tried to sleep with him even after he told her he can’t cause of his brother(also why did the brother thought that she loved him, she was a fricking maid so of course she is gonna suck up to the king to gain power, ether he was that stupid or she is and award winning actress) i know this is long but i just had to write it’s cause it’s been anoying me for a while so i had to get it off of my chest, im gonna continue reading to see where it goes for know bit if it stays the same for much longer i may just drop it cause i dont have the energy to go trough any more BS than neccesary, thank you for reading and have agood day/night byeee 😂🤗🤗🤗
