   Love the plot super exciting. 5/5

   I love how western people cannot comprehend how KOREAN/ASIAN beauty standards work. Infact they cant comprehend how FANTASY and DISGUISES work. I am a South East Asian people i am BROWN and i dont find this offensive, heck, WHY DO YOU EVEN LOOK AT THE SKIN COLOR OF THE PROTAGONIST? They keep wanting to have the moral high ground but are clearly hiding something else. Go back to your western comics, oh wait, nobody reads those anymore because they have terrible writing and weird agendas.

   All in all I don’t think this is intentionally racist, but it’s pretty inconsistent writing and art with really bad characters. I don’t think this is worth reading.

   And just because everyone does it, doesn’t mean it’s not racist. Racism can come many forms and it doesn’t have to be intentional. Being racist doesn’t automatically mean big racist things. It can be small like microaggressions. I get that historically pale means rich, but the author could have included her being bullied by other nobles for having darker skin from when she worked as a maid or something. Idk. Just because a lot of manhwas, mangas and manhuas promote racism as the norm, doesn’t mean we should too.

   @GshHshhsxhhdhs, gosh, you are taking it to heart. And just so you know I am not trying to justify racism or anything of the sort, but as you said in your reply if this is not the only one “being racist”, then go and complain about it in every one of them 🤷.
   Don’t just leave a comment saying that it is, because at least it has a good plot, and the art is good. What I mean is that almost every manhwa shows us an aspect of racism, bullying, etc., but that doesn’t mean the story is bad, sh***, or disgusting. Maybe some main characters get on your nerves, lol, but those are circumstances or just the perfect stage for the fl and ml, it is just the plot.

    What are you talking about? Since the very beginning, these stories (I mean, all of them based on “historical events”) depict how nobles and common folks treat and see poor, disabled, different skin-toned, or plumpy people.

    There are other novels with similar stories, so, is it really the only one being racist? 🤔
