This reminds me of a pendragon tabletop campaign my husband was listening to in which one of the knights couldn’t afford to buy the beeswax candles his wife wanted and had to buy beef tallow candles instead, which stank. This poor man can’t even afford the stinky candles lol. We just wander around in the dark here.
