I mean it was evident that the poison was the queen’s doing from when, it was working towards confirming Jane’s loyalty. Loser Prince had no use for poisioning Viscount Austin, and considering what we’ve seen from Jane so far, he probably wasn’t able to use her so he didn’t bother to do more than he was capable of with her (such as forcing the blue dress into the Marchioness’es room).
It’s interesting to see that he also travelled back to the past, but it seems he is just a clueless idiot stumbling around in the past compared to the Marchioness Kaira, who is actually capapble of taking in the information from both past and present and anayalyzing it in a logical sense.
To be honest I am not a big fan of the art style of the manhwa, and the translations make it difficult to read at times, but this is quite an interesting manhwa that I keep finding myself wanting more.

Yeah he’s trying to pull the “i regret I ever hurt you please give me a 2nd chance” but he is doing it all wrong. He didn’t actually learn from his mistakes
Apparently, the thing is unlike our usual regressed protagonists, this guy only regrets and doesn’t changes his actions thinking his feelings will change the future….the only issue to his cause is that he didn’t into account the chance of FL regressing as well and she definitely don’t wanna be with him
