Just one question.. why in the hell would the empress support vienna of all people in the previous timeline. Vienna is the daughter of a low ranking noble (since kaira’s father was only the marquis due to marriage so he isn’t the direct bloodline of a high ranking noble) so people would look down on her and look for whatever flaw they could so they could place someone else beside reagan. So is it simply that both kaira and vienna were pawns to be disposed of and kaira simply died first or did reagan eventually kill the empress dowager so she could dictate his life any longer. And also kaira is the direct bloodline of a high ranking family so she would be seen as most suitable as empress and she was devoted to Reagan so why did the empress hate her so much? Or is it that the empress hates kaira’s mother and she had something to do with not only kaira’s mother’s death but also kaira’s poisoning? Cuz see, even if jane is the poisoner, jane is a maid of the palace and so could very well be connected to the empress. So either the poisoning is the empress’s doing or jane acted on her own for whatever reason
