Seriously why would the maid care if the princess was found out. There’s been no build up of any kind of relationship. It seemed to be going into why she was the only maid, but then it just went off the rails with the whole “I know you’re not the princess” thing. That doesn’t explain why she would be the only maid. Plus she’s obviously not, because there’s another maid with her. I’ll see how it goes, but I don’t have high hopes.
