She did not abandon him he is a vessel for demon king her sponsoring and missions was to make him stronger years before it really happend

There is no “NOVEL” in the sense that she read it in her previous life her memories are fabricated and the novel is written by her mother gloria to put in the libary in conjuction with the dying god before time got turned back(yes gloria lived alot longer in first timeline)

First timeline got destroyed by Axel (better say demon king when he took over his body)

Fl memories had her lovelife with Axel removed by the god at the request of gloria so she would not get hurt all over again

Axel is having dreams and nightmares about first timeline but cant place it yet this is what fuels his obsession

Allthough memories got fabricated the love is lingering deep down so they instinctivly drawn to eachother

When the truth about first timeline is revealed FL would also tells her story and even get full memory back….

So problem is more that the author opted to write the loopholes in big gaps creating the frustrations
