The OG ML, is such a cowardly jerk. In order to keep his girl, he lied about Elenena’s true feelings. He is selfish and irresponsible. Not only he invalidated Elena’s sincere feeling but he ignored the fact that Elena would suit the Queen position better than tactless, clumsy innocent girl. Imagine if it was the OG Elena who have to go through that ride. It will broke her heart to pieces.

So let me get this straight. The king lied to his now wife at the beginning of their relationship that MC didn’t even like him and it was all political, and hes continued to lie to her this whole time because hes a coward? And on top of that, MC says his wife is “still naive and innocent”, which means that the king and everyone around her wants her to continue to be a naive idiot??? Is that not weird/gross to anyone else??? I hate the king and his wife because hes a coward and shes an idiot, but at this point it just seems like shes being willfully ignorant.
