It look’s like daughters can be sold in this story so the uncle won’t disown the girls, sadly, and yeah it seems like the author set Argent up to not realize that garrick will be chosen and that he will retaliate. Hopefully the author has something planned for that eventuality
Would be nice if they expelled senia but since she’s spoiled by the baron, it’s doubtful they would have unfortunately. Tho yeah, most likely expelling garrick is gonna bite them in the ass cuz he’ll be a vengeful asshole who is barely making ends meet on his own and likely drinks on the regular and then one day will see isnelda, be it when he’s sober or drunk, and go to harm her and blame her for all his suffering despite how much he made her suffer and bam, either argent, ed, or some other potential ml will cone to save the day. Kinda sad that I predict it to the specifics, tho brings up the thought that it’d be nice if it were a female knight to rescue her, especially bam, opportunity to get a bodyguard who isn’t restricted to places allowing said gender to be around (aka can protect during dress changes and such)
