I’m pretty sure she took the candy and talked to him cause he was her brother’s friend and he defended her brother but she’s a grown adult on the inside so that’s not even a good excuse.
If she turns out to be an useless female lead whose actions ultimately don’t make a difference, I will drop this. Hopefully it doesn’t go in that direction, though it’s starting to feel like it.
