I have a theory that it’s either they do make it look like that the daughter that the empress give birth to is not breathing or the princess had a twin sister and that twin had died. That’s only the explanation to why they are not suspecting she’s not the empress child. But, still they’re dumb for not checking if she’s really not the empress child.
