I’m mainly hoping for a freaking explanation that makes sense as to why steal the empress’s child. Like maybe to have a hostage but no one knew luona’s true origins, possibly not even when she died, so why kill her? While the kidnapping could be for a punching bag, the effort to kidnap and fake a death would be too much to make sense. so is there something like there’s something magical in the royal bloodline and luona was used a sacrifice for something once she reached the ripe age of 18? Like what is even the reason for this?

Maybe because she couldn’t hurt the empress, she thought she might as well hurt the one that looks like her?
