Just by skimming through this, I know that all of this is an act. So why are there people having a hard time understanding it? (no offense, I just don’t know why it’s still not clear to some of you)
I don’t think she is stupid. You see , if you’re planning for something (revenge, this case) yet you know what will be happening it will be difficult to make changes as it might spoil the result you want to. She sticking to the act so she can execute her plans well. That’s what Im seeing here.

Her standing her ground would make things difficult and would drastically change things. She also has no back up, Racine doesn’t count cuz she doesnt know he’s on her side and even is thats only one person. She needs to find a steady backing and then can she stand up for herself. If she were to act out right now, they might just kill her and everything would be for waste.
