The more I read this manhwa, the more I think the author looks down on readers’ intelligence. He/she has created a horribly low and illogical piece of work. Both the villains and the protagonist’s team are stupid, especially the emperor. He could have postpone the recognition of the princess, but he didn’t, despite the fact that he’s had doubts. But no! The lady – in -waiting who he already knew she’s not a trustworthy woman told him “That’s your daughter” and he accepted it without any investigation. Wake up, man! That could be her bastard daughter with an unknown guy! How could you be an emperor if you’re so gullible like that!? How a naive man like you could deal with politic matters and those treacherous politicians? And should you be more cautious when giving the “princess” position to someone because it somewhat affects the country? Have some responsibility to your country and your royal bloodline!
And if you hate that evil lady-in-waiting so much, why don’t you secretly kill her or at least toss her out of the palace? You can tell Karina that “your nanny’s left at her own will with a lot of money and properties I gave her”.
