I agree! When he casually went grocery shopping, I was shocked he could even leave the bookstore! Here I was thinking home delivery for food and whatnot. I honestly thought he would leave only when serious sh*t went down. The elf was really his avatar so I’m not counting it. I wanna see everyone’s reaction when he steps out!!!
Man, every time someone brings up Mr. Lin’s advice, I just wonder what he would think if he actually learned of the practical application of his “Soul healing words.” Seriously, he would shit his pants if he found out what’s really going on in this world. The only reason he could accept the whole “Fighting a god” thing is because he was convinced his subconscious was just letting him play a game in his dream. Also, can I just say it’s a bit surprising that he can leave his store. I’ve seen a few times since my last post about not being able to leave that he does so whenever he needs to buy food, but if that’s the case, then why was Inky so insistent on going out to fix the tripped breaker issue for him? That gave me the impression that he can’t leave, but apparently he can? Kind of confused on that front. Regardless, this story has been awesome so far. I may need to take a break though; binge-reading 60 pages is… Whew!
