I really wish authors would try on corsets correctly cause my god if you have a desk job or lift a lot it’s such a freaking god send to wear one. Tight lacing is dangerous and that’s the only time there’s any pain or discomfort if you can comfortably eat or drink or speak it’s WAY too tight
