Here’s another theory for the ending. Just a Theory.

Deon and Cruel are fighting, Deon gets hit lethally and pretends that he’s dying. He’s not, recovery necklace and all that. He’s planning on hitting Cruel while he pretending to be dead when he sees Cruel prepare to *knife noises* himself. He’s in shock, and Cruel says something heart breaking like “Finally we can join you father and mother.” Deon realises what he’s doing and without controlling his body, he tries to stop him but it’s too late. Deon is confused by the turn of events, feeling sick to his stomach. He falls deeper into madness then ever before. “Why? Why? WHY? DOESN’T HE HATE ME? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN???” Then that villain Deon tells him to forget, and he does to cope. He forgets he has a brother. He denies all existence of a brother. People realise that he’s not this total bad@ss, but actually insane. As they attempt to help him, he falls deeper into his craziness. That’s the sad ending.

Another theory is that he kills his brother in cold blood. He’s unaware that there’s an audience. Deon’s butler then decides to spill the truth. (I’m assuming he’s a traitor of some sort.) Deon’s eyes widen as he attempts to understand. “T-they cared?” Then he gets hit with the overwhelming realization of what he’s done. He’s going mental, crazier. He tries to talk to people, his “found family” but they turn him away in fear and disgust. The emperor finds no use for him like that, and has lost the driving force behind Deon so he also leaves him. He’s left to die alone.
