Why does it sound like they’re planning on ending their lives by Deon’s hands? Or that they are aware of an illegitimate child who’s plotting against them? I’m probably overthinking it.
…is it weird that i think it’s really sweet of them to go this far to protect their uncle? like it’s pretty obvious the rest of the royal family tried to kill the first prince’s kids after he died and the uncle obliterated their scheming asses before they could hurt the people he loved and that’s why he’s emperor by default now. they just really love each other unconditionally and are super ride-or-die and that’s sweet. and absolutely necessary to have given the current political atmosphere
