wish this had a better picture of Dissociative Identity Disorder. normally there’s way more than one bonus personality. hell, oft the times you never even meet the system and meet a handful of alters, they’re there to protect the system and will cover up any shifts as smoothly as they can to avoid suspicion. they are not inherently dangerous or unpredictable, and honestly? neither are either of deon’s main fronts. sure he can be brutal but it’s always in self-defense or defense of his comrades and is very localized and contained in a coldly efficient manner. the misinterpretation on the general’s part sounds like it’s going to be a central conceit of the story when in reality it’s… kind of the whole problem with how people handle DID in real life, and the notion isn’t exactly being challenged here. real world ableism and bias are not being challenged or refuted here. they’re being reinforced. don’t love that
