I know this may be an unpopular opinion but actually I kinda understand why Nellan behaves like this: we have read countless of stories where the main character decide to stop her tragic history with any means and he is doing the same. Even though Jellard didn’t do anything wrong in this life, in the past life he ruined Nellan life completely and abused him, raped him, killed his beloved. Of course he wants revenge now.
