The plot is starting interesting but then is getting downgraded, at some point it feels like the author is forcing us to know all characters, and is getting a bit rushed. First 15 ch i would rate 8/10 but rest is going to 6.5/10, hope is goona be improved in next ch.

Are you talking about Jellard? If so, I would have to disagree with you. In the original story, Jellard had more of an obsessive personality, not really gay. If you notice, he is now obsessed with the female lead who has shown him not only kindness but as tried to teach him the mannerisms of the nobles as well as prevent him from falling into despair at losing out on the cave beneath his vineyard. It is possible that he was actually bisexual, however, I still think he is obsessed with those who show him kindness regardless of the person’s gender since he suffered at the hands of his brothers and thought that his father hated him.
If you are referring to the young man whom she ended up being friends with, then I strongly agree with you. The emperor should not have been trying to coax him into a physical relationship if he knew that he was straight. There is no excuse there.
