Everything is randomized and full of loopholes. But then again, the number 1 rule when reading a manhwa is to throw logic at the back of your head. About the 2 bros, the author did them so much injustice. They were described by their father as “someone who still can’t do anything alone even as adults” or something like that. BUT it’s the father’s fault to begin with so I can see where their hatred and jealousy are coming from.

I really hate this kind of custom they had like at the first place the fl is born from the first wife and she’s a legally the daughter of the count and she’s supposedly the heirs just bcs her mother died and she got a step mom and half sister the previlage she should have as an eldest daughter and legal daughter got banished in instant!!! They had to make the brothers ugly to seem evil in a situation they’d normally be the protagonist in. I don’t completely agree they haven’t been abused, maybe not to her extent but the Duke still neglected his legitimate sons and wife. Also why does one of them look like the butler?
