Yah I couldn’t also believe that the author made these brothers of the ml looks ugly, I’m not making fun of their faces but it’s true their faces looks ugly, the fact that their father is not ugly he’s actually a handsom man. specially when he’s younger!! But yah know every manhwa I’ve read the ml siblings whether it’s step sister or not they’re also looking pretty and handsome, even not so handsome and pretty at least they aren’t not like this!!

I cannot emphasise on this ENOUGH, but the brothers truly aren’t evil— if anyone’s evil, it’s the the duke, theIR CHEATER OF A FATHER!!! It’s finally confirmed now that the duke brought in a mistress while his wife was still around and continues to see no fault in his actions. HE’S PRACTICALLY SOVIENSHU FROM “The Remarried Empress”!!
Granted, I do believe that it is wrong for the brothers to hate on Jellard since it’s not like he asked to be born as an illegitimate child of his cheating father.
However, it’s strange how and why the FL doesn’t empathise with these two brothers, they deserve better. The reason they are the way the are is practically because of their father!?

I dunno I have one out for our Duke based on ‘born under shameful circumstances’ Going for the cliche- their mom will be revealed to be an emotional abuser who drugged the duke date-r@ped him then used the pregnancy of the first son to demand a marriage which allowed the child to be born legitimately, then went for a round two to lock him in later on using the you can’t leave me we are married and I am pregnant again route. She also took obsessive care over her sons emotionally colouring their perspective of events and their father but also widening the chasm he feels towards them.
Prolly just he was a Sovie-shit and cheated but we have precedent this could be a I’m just a stepmother but my step-daughter is too cute kind of scenario too for the old guy.

Those brothers truly are ugly inside and out, but their motivations are protagonist material. It was just hinted that their father had his reasons for his actions and he doesn’t seem like a bad guy, but it isn’t just the sons’ bad natured disrupting the house.

ngl guys.. i think these two brothers have a point on hating or whatever he’s feeling rn.. cuz like- the father take a mistress and his two sons consider that as a betrayal and that action make them hate the mistress and ml.. it’s like taking away their happiness or love that’s supposed to be received by them.. (sorry if my english is confusing cuz english is not my first language) anw- but then it doesn’t justify their actions to ml cuz ml hasn’t done anything to them, they’re supposed to hate their father but as i said before.. it’s, like that.. *sigh* idk, it’s just my interpretation..
