first of all they actually think she is really dead. when she was running away and the attacked her one of those mages used some kind of super destructive spell what blow up everything around. but in last second Caleb used teleportation magic to save them. But everything else was destroyed so they all think they are dead. Alexandros actually suffers a lot and even consider to kill himself but then decided not to because he deserves to suffer. He said that it would be okay if Robellia isn’t with him as long she is safe. Robbellia actually come back at last moment to stop the execution of the Duke and Alexandros can’t belive his eye and think that he got completely crazy.
