I thought at first that 0.02% is small right? But them if you calculate that to 2 billion it’s 40 million. So I kind of understand their concern since it came from the taxes of their people? Actually Marie Antoinette was famously blamed for the decline of France due to her “extravagance”. She really only spent a typical amount for noble women of her time. Nope, nope nope. Butting heads with the other-woman is just lowly. I don’t care if it’s a part of her strategy, she would’ve made much more progress had she ignored the whole lot of them rather than making so much noise to make it seem like she’s throwing a jealous tantrum. Now, he’s defending her only because his ego is inflated thinking that her actions are her attempt at begging for his attention..

She wouldn’t have, though. She genuinely has to make him close to hate her if she is to get away. She cannot divorce alone, and it is explained pretty well that her old palace was so bad off it was a disease deathtrap. Besides, the other woman didn’t even show this chapter.

She is just trying to do what she can to get divorced and since her only knowledge of this guy isn’t past memories but the like short time he treats her in the book she assumes that butting heads with the woman he “loves” will get her spurned and tossed out not turn this guy into a semi masochist who is into all this.

have you been reading the story? the other woman is a cheating bitch and so is her husband and apparently the only way she can gain freedom is by acting like an absolute menace. The last time she was silent and obedient didn’t she die? she could’ve gotten revenge in a much better way, that is true, but it isn’t her fault that the emperor is so full of himself to believe that she is still in love with him.

i know right. As much as I hate the king, I really gotta give him props for that one. Fighting over a 0.02 is just ridiculous, those nobles are only exaggerating what she does in order to put the other hoe on the throne.
