@trucksama, You have a point about being upset if the first dance is taken. That said, what I meant is that if he is jealous of his own dad, he is either jealous despite the safeguards of both being married, them being family, and the age difference or, on the flipside, it means that he has a reason to be jealous and his dad is the kind of scum he knows will make a move despite all that. Either way sounds like someone is dysfunctional, thus my comment.

Also, I want to go that deep. If I didn’t, I’d be reading the manhua with “mature” tags where the characters only have 1 braincell. (Mostly, I just dislike jealous MLs, though. I put up with it because it’s a staple of the genre, but, imo, jealousy is a sign of possessiveness, not love.)

Being jealous of your dad would really mean someone is dysfunctional. We’d have to wait and see who, but hopefully it’s more a wariness that he’s probing her or something.
