Doing a good deed but wants that spread around. Asking for that information to be spread is not truly doing a good deed. It’s like those videos that people post of them giving money to homeless people that are clearly staged [I’ve even heard some take the money back after]. That’s not doing a good deed. Not really
I love this! The book is super rude and obviously “prophezises” only the worst case, but it’s actually educating this “villainess” 😀 I bet her “kindness” towards a random orphanage just in order to raise her reputation with clear selfish goals will also be frowned upon by the book, and such will teach her how real kindness should be 😉
A good deed is a good deed, it doesn’t matter why you did it, plus, why can’t she ask for them to promote her kindness to help her out. To her the money was nothing but three dresses, to them it’s building repairs and new commoner clothes, and all she gets is good words spread about her. Also, she’s clearly liking the feeling it gives her to be kind. So she’s clearly changing a bit by looking outside her own world into the wider world of others.
She can’t just change in a blink of an eye. I guess it’s realistic that she starts doing good thing from bad reasons and I guess she’ll change gradually.
