I don’t think it was explicitly said to be the dad who was the only other person in the elder’s lifetime to have survived the poison?? Like the elder looks old enough to be a grandpa so could literally have been a grandparent who took the poison. Which while it can still beg the question of how, since haewon thought of the fact that apparently a friend of her father got such a pill and passed (I understood correctly), it may be a thing of even tho it’s for successors, the successors might choose to save someone other than themselves.
Her dad took the poison but still had seggs with her step mom and mom yet her stepmom died from drinking poison???? It doesn’t add up. If her dad is poisonous too them how did he create kids?????
