Do we know what happened to Hwi’s sister? The leader of the Demonic Cult appears to have shifted bodies, but what happened to his sister’s body after that? Could be part of what’s tying him down.
Yeah unless he has another gu worm in his body, he can make some choices. Like he could seek refuge with his Nui and she “might” be able to protect him but it might be hard if they are really determined to kill him.
it was one thing when he was being g physically abused and coerced into his choices. now… he’s trying to force that same fate upon someone else to satisfy his own selfish desires. my pity ends there
