In case it wasn’t obvious enough, he’s the big villain here. He’s actually a god in disguise and the ogfl was his child with another goddess. It’s actually against the rules to become the demon lord as a god but he’s power hungry. The “book” FL read is really just a prophecy foreseen by the ogfl’s mom. She left ogfl with the demon lord to keep safe but he got rid of her for some reason. He places a fake in her place. She’ll appear later and claim to be the real saint.

Oh that was the guy that tried to control FL if I remember he was u der the illusion that he can control our FL so that’s what then his identity got revealed then a crack between the worlds appeared and reyes was assigned to go investigate but he didn’t know about the cracj and demons started to attack him he got severely injured went back and warned FL. This is just my understanding though cause the plot is all over the place new villain guy showed up=Demons appearing, simple as that
