I just cant never get into story where ML is opressive like when FL needs literally to grovel under his feet to survive until he became like “she is interesting, now I am gonna be opressive in different way” like sorry but its not romantic at all that FL is pushed around and has no choice but since he is handsome she is okay. Lol. Just make him this way but get rid of romance and made the story without it

at the ends of the day he’s the emperor, everyone takes orders from him. he is in complete control of the country and its people. thats how that fuckin works.
even so shes holding her own pretty well. she’s respectful but pushing boundaries. its not like he’s bullying her and shes just crying and taking it..
