Until chapter 20, I like the story; since it avoids most clichés from other Victorian fantasy romance plots. And I really love female leads who see ghosts, especially when they have a history either as a shaman (or the like) themselves or have been a member of a family with spiritual powers 🙂
This female lead is also really refreshing. All the sassy lies she makes up are so funny 😀 The gods are a cool idea per se, but I’m not so happy about their doll-like Paimon-appearances floating around the female lead like all those little fairies from other stories…
Sadly the male lead is disappointing once again, and I hate the thought of the two being paired to the disadvantage of the female lead. The ml is way too boringly typical – dark-haired, royalty = super high status, a supreme fighter of course, and also distrustful, unsocial and gruff.
He also has too many annyoing perks like an “instinct” that lets him find the female lead among many people for example, and I really, really hate how he treats her at their first meeting.
The “enemies to lovers”-trope can be bearable if it’s just a bit of bickering (like in “Is It A Fortune Or Is It A Woe? ), but it becomes despicable when one of them (in 99,9% the male lead) threatens innocent weaker people, especially women. Such bullies should be taught a lesson and then be ignored, not be forgiven just because of (temporarily) changing their attitude towards one person when they fall in love…

The FL is awesome. Why the title is I”‘m a fairy” I have no idea. Shaman would have worked way better then fairy. But maybe the story will take a twist and it’ll make sense idk
The ML is okay. He’s a standard enemies to lover type ML, don’t trust, hate feminine flirting, easy to want to execute people etc etc. He’s not bad but so far hasn’t done anything new, at the same time he hasn’t been in the story THAT much. I’d say the story is like 90% doing FL stuff and 10%ML.

the ml sucks but the fl is so interesting and I really want to root for her and the gods… solid story might be much better if the ml stops ruining it
