It’s always amusing when readers, who have the omniscient view, think someone is dumb for not seeing something so obvious. It’s “not” obvious. It was a traumatic event that happened to FL a decade ago. A whirlwind of scandals and then being abused. There wasn’t some big reveal before FL death of the friend confessing everything.

Well, this is a sensible topic… I would never ever date a friend’s boyfriend or even an enemy’s boyfriend, much less marry him. I wouldn’t even trust that person’s judgement if he happened to marry my so called friend (after finding out she’s really against me)… but I guess he’s the ML so, I will just endure it for the sake of the story!
