1. Leah actually was never evil. She did things “evilly” for unknown reasons. Judging from what the butler and the head maid said, they knew she was a kind-hearted person so… why did Leah become evil later?
2. If she was so cared for by the Emperor to the point where he reproached his own brother for the way he was treating her, why was she sentenced to die later on? Sure, one could say that whatever she did might have warranted to by trying to kill the heroine but even then.. you would think she would have been given a different sentence not death.
It’s better to read the first few chapters of the novel instead as the translation and the flow is weird. I was able to sort of piece it together because I’ve read it before ?♀️
