The only reason they can treat Anastasia this way is because she is a powerless woman and they have the upper hand. This is no different that abuse and murder of someone who doesn’t have any way to defend himself.
Anastasia sure is at fault for poisoning Evelyne but if she was in a better environment this thought wouldn’t even be in her head once. They only needed a weak girl on whom they could vent their pent up anger, she is just a victim and they illude themselves by thinking they are on the right side of history. This s*it is crazy I hope everyone dies miserably.
