Poorly built or best built. The FL of this novel is incredible, due to countless traumas she has become crazy. She absolutely despises the duke for he took away the only thing that gave her purpose and meaning, Sergey was her life. She doesn’t want to end the angagement and be successful, she wants to ruin the dukes life. If she had been built as the type you’re describing (practically every divorce wanting FL i’ve ever read about), she wouldn’t have any real depth. Her insanity is what makes her different, unique and thus well created.
This FL is one of the most poorly built characters I ever read (I’ve read countless comics, manhwas, novel, etc)
In that 5 years, she didn’t even try to find a better solution to fix the situation or improve her relationship with the duke. She knows he hates him, so why doesn’t she save and try to start a business? And when she’s already prepared financially, she can offer him for engagement break.
She doesn’t even know how to collect PROPER ALLY!
She’s better to use that money to collect information on SML rather than kill her.
