I don’t mind FL being a bit niave, even no, since the plot has only now just begun to thicken by making us slowly see the darker side of these characters. You have to remember that FL grew up VERY sheltered unteres the EXTREME “parenting” of her father. Even expressing her opinion was considered laughable and a waste of time because at the end of the day, only profot mattered over FL’s happiness.
FL shines best when she faces true sincerity from others. She’s genuinely kind and wants to help others as much as she can. She was able to form a sweet bond with Gabriel (the musician) but with this new development, she has now been exposed to the dark side of the people she thought she could trust. The princess—once a friend— is now a cold-hearted and scheming abuser. Meanwhile ML—a person she also thought she could rely on— is slowly revealing himself as someone similar. ML tests people’s worth first before helping them. He doesn’t do it out of the kindness of his heart, he does it to that it can benefit him in every way, especially for a long time, and that’s probably why he proposed to FL.
Keep in mind that FL has been pushed into these extreme situations VERY FAST, especially when you consider that she’s been kept in the dark by so many people for YEARS and is now slowly but surely learning to be more confident in herself to rise to the occasion. It’s not gonna happen overnight, because a sudden change in one’s entire personality means bad writing (in most cases, not all)
As for the plot, Keisha learn to stay out of other people business. Why would you interfere. Isn’t it good that you now know the princess secret. Learn to weaponize it to use against her to get her to leave you and Seiod alone. Be smart and stop wanting to fix things.
