Why do translators keep on mixing up pronouns like this? They called her mother “count” when the character’s a woman, They should have translated her title as “countess”…. and b.t.w. FL is not a “princess”, that title only applies to the daughters of the royal or imperial family.
It might be used on the daugher of a duke only when said duke is related by blood to the royal or imperial family, not to other nobles’ daughters.
To all the other daughters of noble families their title was “lady (last name)”. For female commoners the title (for an unmarried woman) was simply “Miss (last name)”. I mean, this is basic history knowledge we are talkling about!
I understand that maybe the translators don’t know these things by heart but, they only need to spend five minutes of their time to “google” it, make sure the translation is alright and keep on with their daily lives! We don’t live in the 80’s where you literally needed to go to a library to find a book and research through tons of books to know the answer!
