I, too am tired of ridiculously cartoonish evil families, but something about these morons just bring a smile on my face. Idk why but seeing these guys run around like chickens with their heads cut off is amusing to me. The mother just showed up just to say she doesn’t want to do anything (fine, go back to being an NPC for all I care). The father wants to re-engage Letitia with the trash ex as if that’ll solve anything (like he’ll be able to accomplish that anyways). The brothers minimize their blame just to put it on Diana (not like y’all stop her or cared). And the best part goes to Diana pathetically crying out copium, still pretending she has any real talent or personality. This family is doing a great job sabotaging themselves.
Tbf they grew up spoiled and coddled all their life so unfortunately I don’t think it unrealistic but I’m also a little tired of these cartoonishly evil villains. Wouldn’t even cockroaches run in another direction when their head is cut off? Who blindly charges towards their death even when they see it coming?
They are sacrificed their family member to try and fix into high society? Why should they care? It is difficult to create villains’ with realistic motives.
