One thing I never see people mention in the back and forth about the male lead is how he basically abandoned her after her miscarriage. It was mentioned and heavily implied that she had a fairly late term miscarriage and he became much colder and more distant after that. They were friendly at least and after that he nearly abandoned her just barely doing his husbandly duty. That is so fucked and hurtful.
Are you serious? He called your sacrifices and your love silly. He belittled you and made another woman’s child his heir. You say you don’t regret it but it affects you that your kid isn’t the one being celebrated. You should be relieved.
I see ppl saying that she’s evil for not letting him know he has a kid, but think about it. He is man with a lot of power and a sudden obsession imagine how he would keep her captive and use her kid against her while both mother and child would be in constant danger. Both would be threatened and the illegitimate kid and her kid would be used as pawns. She has lived a good life in hiding. She shouldn’t go back.

It doesn’t matter if he loved her before and it doesn’t matter if he loves her now. If his trauma or politics caused his actions is irrelevant.
If you hurt someone, that’s on you. Even if there are reasons. There are no excuses and no justifications.
And even now, trying to get her back, he is only thinking of himself and how she made him happy in the past. How he misses her. This is not redemption; this is selfishness. He wants to go back to the “good times” but the times he remembers exist only with her silent suffering.
