I feel like I could maybe forgive him because of this, although a man should be willing to save his child whether he loves it’s mother or not so he doesn’t get any special brownie points with me but it at least proves he’s not a total prince of shit which like you said, is more than I can say abt a lot of MLs that get forgiven in the end. I still hope they don’t immediately get back together and that he still has to put in some more work after this but she’s now just open to the idea of getting together again. I think he’s earned her trust and forgiveness but I still don’t think he’s fully earned her love again
I mean, this one incident is a pretty big one after all. He was dying after saving their child, and even keeping it a secret as not to worry her. It’s more than other shit ML’s have been forgiven for.
