I used to really like this one, but the reason was how flirty, cute, cunning and smart the young FL was, and how it translated to interesting tweaks in the OG storyline. Ever since they grew up though, the author chose this strange approach of making her demure and clueless when that wasn’t how her personality was presented at all. I understand that she spent years apart from Zerkan (ML) ans that what she did as a child was to protect her brother, but they genuinely friends and he went to WAR. It’s just weird to present it this way and then force a clueless about his affections situation just to then come up with a fake marriage/marriage of convenience plotline that makes no sense, even more using the concubine and Antonio as the antagonists, both of which were already done for. Genuinely disappointed about the way this is going and about to drop it entirely.

I read a few chapters and it was pretty good but I don’t like manhuas where they don’t grow into adults even after 50 chapters so I stopped.

I think about this one frequently, mostly because it’s so fun and lighthearted but still witty and it’s quite surprising how deep it can go despite it having a more “relaxed” (for lack of better word) vibe. I miss it, hopefully it’ll be updated soon!

I’m only half way done with this novel but I love the theme and the way the story is set to be childish and fun. It’s a comedic story that has a lot of context when you think about it. Overall I would rate 4.3/5 only because I’m not up to date and so far nothing very climactic has happened.
